The eyebrows help to frame the eyes, highlight the look and must be in harmony with the face.
The trend for a few years now is thick and well outlined eyebrows . This eyebrow style allows the features of the face to stand out and the look becomes even deeper. In addition to this styling makes you look younger, unlike thin or sparse eyebrows.
However, not all of us have long, thick and naturally outlined eyebrows. And although there are many makeup techniques to make them look like this, the microblading technique for the eyebrows is an excellent option. But… what exactly is microblading and how does this technique work?

What is Microblading?
Microblading is a micropigmentation technique to define the shape of the eyebrow . It is undoubtedly one of the most innovative techniques in the makeup industry. It consists of a pigmentation in the epidermis and the “hair by hair” design to shape or fill in areas.
It is a safe alternative and the results are amazing. However, there are still people who have mistrust and fear that the eyebrows do not look good and that there is no going back. For this reason we bring here everything you need to know about microblading.

How does it work?
Microblading is a semi-permanent pigmentation on the skin. It is performed with a disposable pen resembling a beveled scalpel . This tool is similar to the one used to make tattoos or micropigmentation, which are similar techniques but with a longer permanence and with much thicker strokes. Microblading lasts about a year and a half.
In the case of microblading, the pen used contains 14 very fine needles, as thin as a hair. Each area to be pigmented is reviewed three times. This is done with very fine freehand strokes, yes, always following the natural direction of the hair, since the objective is that it is very natural at all times.
However, in addition to the technique and specialized tools to perform microblading, an essential part for an ideal result is that an eyebrow design is carried out, as well as some previous tests to determine the best tone and rule out any possible allergies or reaction to chemicals.
What is eyebrow design?
The eyebrow design allows you to determine what shape and color is ideal for each face . The current trend is for eyebrows to be thick, abundant and very well defined, but without looking false or exaggerated. This style frames the features and the look very well and with microblading, unlike pigmentation or tattooing, it is achieved naturally.
However, the shape of the eyebrows may not be the same for all people. The features, the skin and hair color, the shape of the eyes and personal taste, are the elements that are taken into account to design the eyebrow. For this reason, many people are still afraid to try these techniques, because a poorly designed eyebrow can be fatal and very unsightly.
The eyebrow design is done prior to microblading. Measurements of the face are taken and symmetry is sought. Lastly, before beginning the microblading on the brow, it is shown by “painting” a previous design with makeup and the final shape and tones. For this reason it is so important to go with proven professionals to carry out this technique
What are the care during and after microblading?
Although it is a simple treatment, it requires certain care so that there are no complications . Microblading does not cause much pain. If anything it is compared to a hair removal process that causes some itching and irritation that passes quickly. However, before starting the process, an allergy test must be performed.
To this end, a small amount of pigment is applied at the same time as the brow design and color test. Wait 24 hours to verify that the ink does not cause any strange reaction . If all goes well, move on. It is also likely to be indicated that above moles or spots on the eyebrow not be pigmented for safety.
After microblading, the eyebrow must remain covered and spread a cream for healing. It should not be exposed to the sun for 5 to 10 days afterward and should not be exposed to perfumes, alcohol or makeup. It is also very important not to pick off the scabs. And it is very important not to touch the eyebrows with dirty hands to avoid infection.
5. The 6 days after microblading
After microblading, scarring makes it seem like everything has gone wrong. It must be remembered that the microblading process includes small cuts in the skin, which although they are not painful, have a normal healing process and react as such. This can bring some surprises in the following days, but you have to know what is happening.
At the time of finishing the work and the day after, the eyebrows look very similar to what the final result will be. On the second day, as healing begins, they will appear darker. You may not like how they look, but it is a normal and temporary process. On the third day some scars begin to fall off on their own and may have some hair attached. It is normal and will not be too many.
On the fourth day, the pigmentation will not be very noticeable since the healing will make it look whitish. This, coupled with the fact that some hairs have fallen out, will make the eyebrows appear to disappear. Finally, during the fifth and sixth days, the eyebrows begin to look like they will be and they will surely be just as you imagined them.
